Death Cafe

Don’t be put off by the name.
A Death Café is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes.
It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

Death Café is an international movement formed in England dedicated to taking the topic of death out of the closet, with the objective “to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.” The participants come together in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, sharing respectful, engaging thought-provoking and life-affirming conversations.
