Couples Group: Caring for a Spouse with Mild Dementia or Chronic Illness

Circle of Care’s 5-week Couples Group offers you and your spouse the opportunity to socialize together, interact with other couples, share common experiences, and develop new friendships.

Please join us to explore a range of activities for both the caregiver and the care recipient.

Every Thursday from January 18 – February 15, 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Eligibility:

• One member of the couple has early dementia, mild cognitive impairment or a chronic illness
• The couple does not have long standing relational or communication problems
• Participants should be over 65 years of age
• Both partners are verbal and ambulatory (with or without a walker or cane)
• They must be willing to meet with program staff for a screening interview
