Circle of Care was launched as demonstration project in 1970 under the auspices of the Toronto Jewish Welfare (now knows as the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.) After 3 years of demonstration (1971-1974), Circle of Care was incorporated in 1974 as Coordinated Services to the Jewish Elderly (CSJE) with its own board of directors.
