Allan Rudolph is a Managing Partner at BDO and is a member of the Toronto Region Management Board. Allan’s area of specialization includes manufacturing and retail. He also has extensive experience in multi-location audits, working with high profile clients. Allan is an active member of various firm committees and has also been involved in a number of charitable organizations including Circle of Care. Allan sits on the Sinai Health System board as an ex-officio member.
Stephen M. Pustil
Stephen Pustil has been Vice Chairman the Board of MDC Partners since 1992. He is also Vice Chairman of Peerage Realty Partners and Chairman of Artemis Investment Management. Stephen serves as a Director of Trez Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation and Trez Senior Mortgage Investment Corporation. Stephen is a Chartered Accountant and has been a member of the Board of Directors of MDC Partners since 1992.
Harvey Bernstein is currently a Compliance Officer at Gluskin Sheff + Associates Inc., an independent investment firm, where he served for a number of years as both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Harvey is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of experience in the field of accounting, tax and finance. In addition to volunteering with Circle of Care, Harvey also volunteered his time for many years as a member of the Discipline Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and, for seven years, led the Committee as Chair and Deputy Chair.
Jeff Carbell is a CPA/CA and partner at BDO Canada. His business activities include providing clients with solutions related to business acquisitions and divestitures, and succession planning for family members. Jeff’s career has spanned three decades, including time spent with an international accounting firm. Jeff has significant experience in the auto dealership, real estate and health service industries.
Michael joined TorQuest Partners in 2009. He has more than 15 years of experience as an investor and lawyer. Prior to joining TorQuest, Michael was a Partner in the Venture Capital Funds of EdgeStone Capital Partners where he invested in and worked closely with a number of successful technology companies including SlipStream Data, Workbrain, Rypple and Protus IP Solutions. Earlier in his career, Michael was with Goodmans LLP where he established the Venture Capital & Private Equity Association. He is a member of the Business Development Sub-Committee of Mount Sinai Hospital and is a volunteer mentor with The Mentoring Partnership program. Michael holds both LL.B. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Toronto and a B.A. (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario.
Brian Lass is a CA / CPA (Ontario) with over 30 years of business experience. He is the principal of LWH Advisors Inc. which provides strategic and operational advisory services to medium-size enterprises and not-for-profit organizations in a wide range of industries. He is also the principal of Glen Stuart Inc, which has real estate investments in Ontario and the south eastern US. His Boards of Directors experience has focused on ensuring financial wellbeing and good governance. He has served boards of several corporations, one of which oversees over $300 million in assets. In addition, he has been the President / Board Chair of two major communal organizations in Toronto.

Carey Lucki is Chief Executive Officer, Circle of Care and Vice President, Sinai Health System. Carey’s health care background spans 27 years in both acute and home/community care settings. She has held various roles in operational management, administrative excellence (policy and programming), project management, quality & risk, and strategic planning. Her portfolio at Circle of Care includes oversight of all CCAC/LHIN contracts ($46 million annual budget) and home services programs. Carey also has oversight of Quality and Risk and Operational/Process Improvement at Circle of Care as well as Sinai Health System Integration and Transformation initiatives. Carey graduated from the University of Toronto in 1989 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and additionally holds a Masters of Business Administration with Distinction, from the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Dr. Gary Newton
Dr. Gary Newton is President and CEO of Sinai Health System. Before assuming this role in October 2016, he held the position of Physician-in-Chief of Mount Sinai Hospital from 2013 to 2015, and was appointed to the role of Chief Medical Strategy Officer and Physician-in-Chief of the newly formed Sinai Health System in 2015. As a practicing Cardiologist, Dr. Newton was Head of the Division of Cardiology, University Health Network and Mount Sinai Hospital from 2009 through 2013. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Scientific Research Committee of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Dr. Newton is a graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School. He completed internal medicine at the University of Toronto, and trained in adult cardiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. He has worked at Mount Sinai Hospital since 1987.
Dr. Les Richmond
Les is a Family Physician (M.D) with an interest in geriatric care. Les has 30 years of experience in computer and health care consulting, and has developed role studies and master programs for several health care facilities. Les is a deeply committed community leader who, in addition to his involvement with Circle of Care, is one of the founders and Past Presidents of Habayit Shelanu Seniors Residences.
Bernice worked for over 30 years in the cosmetic industry in both Europe and North America, holding executive positions for several major international companies including Christian Dior, Erno Laszlo, Sonora International, and Max Factor/ Revlon, of which she was General Manager. She was also the President and Founder of Intracor Inc., an international trading company. Since retiring, Bernice has been involved with various volunteer activities including Temple Sinai and the homeless. She is currently on the Board and Foundation of Circle of Care, and is an active volunteer with the agency. She is also a member of the Gala Committee of The National Ballet of Canada. An avid animal protectionist, Bernice is a volunteer and fundraiser for Action Volunteers for Animals, working in the adoption centres.
Robert A. Rubinoff
Robert Rubinoff is the President and CEO of Inglewood Holdings Inc., a private family investment company, and the President of Sheffield Inc., a private company in the United States investing in real estate. Robert is also on the Board of Sinai Health System and is Past Chair of the Sinai Health Foundation Board. Previously, he was the Chairman of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce in 1982 and Director of public companies Commonwealth Holiday Inns, Equitable Group and The Learning Company. He attended the University of Western Ontario and New York University.
