Roles & Teams at Circle of Care

Personal Support Workers (PSW)

PSWs are an essential part of our healthcare system who provide personal care to people with complex care needs, helping them live healthier, happier and longer lives at home. Many internationally-trained healthcare professionals, such as nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, paramedics and physicians, can work as a PSW without having to get a PSW certificate.

Homemakers

Our Homemakers provide companionship and housekeeping support to seniors and older adults in their homes including vacuuming, laundry, wiping down counters, light meal prep, and more. This is a great opportunity to support a vulnerable population in your community while enhancing your client service skillset.

Other Front Line Staff

Circle of Care has teams of exercise instructors and transportation staff who make a real difference in the lives of older adults in local communities by helping them keep moving and maintain their independence.

  • For our flexible, part time exercise instructor roles we accept applications from all who are active learners in the area of wellness and who are motivated to lead group exercise classes in person, with the goal of helping people over 65 build strength and improve balance.
  • Our friendly, specially-trained drivers provide door to door service to older adults in clean, comfortable vehicles, helping them get to medical and social appointments.

Licensed Healthcare Professionals

Circle of Care is comprised of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team including licensed healthcare professionals in the RN/RPN and Social Work fields.

Corporate Staff

We have many different teams that support our corporate functions and frontline staff, including Human Resources, IT, Finance, Communications, Fundraising, Quality Service Coordination, Call Centre, Office Administration, Program Delivery and Volunteer Resources.
