What We Do

Circle of Care is a not-for-profit organization providing home health care and community support services in the GTA and York Region. Our wide range of services support independent living in the community and help older adults live healthier, happy and longer lives at home. Here’s what sets us apart:

Services at Home

Personal Support & Homemaking: Personal care (grooming, bathing and toileting), caregiver respite, light housekeeping and laundry, shopping and meal preparation

Hospice at Home: Support and practical assistance for individuals with a life-threatening illness and their caregivers

Social Gatherings, Friendly Visiting & Phone Pals: Volunteer-led programs to help combat effects of social isolation

Services in the Community

Kosher Meals on Wheels: Healthy meals delivered by friendly, trained volunteers

Transportation (iRIDE): Subsidized rides to medical appointments, shopping, and social visits

Exercise & Falls Prevention Classes: 150+ classes offered in the community

Specialized Services

Adult Day Program for older adults with dementia & other cognitive impairments (located at Steeles Ave. & Dufferin St.)

Assisted Living: On-site personal support and homemaking for high-risk seniors

Holocaust Survivor Support: Funded services include personal support, counselling, transportation, and meals on wheels

Elder Abuse: prevention & care for older adults experiencing abuse

Client & Caregiver Support

Social Work Support & Counselling: Includes psycho-social assessments, consultation, community linkage, counselling, case management, crisis support, and education

Support Groups: Various topics to help clients and families through difficult transitions

Information & Referral Services: Navigation support for clients, family members, health professionals and community members
