directly with individuals or groups, or to assist with organizational
governance and administration.

With Direct Service to Clients,
Volunteers
- assist in the organization and delivery of Kosher Meals
on Wheels to persons in their own homes;
- provide valuable links to the community for persons
with few family and social supports;
- monitor frail and vulnerable seniors through visitation
and telephone support;
- support a professional team in working with persons
with highly specialized needs;
- drive seniors to medical and other appointments.
In Governance & Administration, Volunteers
- define the agency’s mission, values,
vision and philosophy;
- guide the agency’s strategic development;
- support the agency’s goals and objectives;
- oversee financial and budget matters;
- represent the agency to government and community
groups;
- help raise funds.
